The Velaris AZ80400 is a refractor telescope intended for astronomical and terrestrial observation.
It has a focal length of 400 mm and an aperture of 80 mm. The optical components are coated to reduce reflections and improve light transmission.
The telescope includes multiple interchangeable eyepieces providing different magnification levels depending on the configuration used. A 3× Barlow lens is included to increase the effective magnification of compatible eyepieces. A 6×30 finderscope with mounting bracket is supplied to assist with locating objects. An erect-image diagonal prism is included for image orientation.
A smartphone adapter is included to align a mobile device with the eyepiece for image capture. A wireless remote shutter is provided for triggering photos without touching the device.
The telescope is mounted on an adjustable tripod made of metal alloy to support different viewing positions. The optical tube is constructed from aluminum alloy.
The package includes the telescope tube, tripod, eyepieces, finderscope, diagonal prism, smartphone adapter, wireless remote, and standard accessories.
